Gemstones
& crystals are buried underground and grown inside the deposits.
(e.g Pegmatite deposits, hydrothermal deposits, Diamond pipe deposits
& Alluvial placer deposits.) While experiencing thousand &
million years of weathering, erosion, sedimentation, pressure, heating
and mineralisztion, gemstones & crystals are formed. So each
piece of gemstone shows it's tracks of timeline.
Quartz usually grow within cracks of the rocks in the Earth's crust.
While going through heat, pressure and time, it dissolving many
minerals and crystallisztion occurs and here's come the born of
quartz.
Quartz, transparent, sometimes
can be seen as white, it's chemical composition is Silica (SiO2),
Hardness is 7, Double refractive.
If there's other mineral
mix in when quartz form, it's body colour will change. e.g. Amethyst,
Citrine, Smoky quartz, Rose quartz etc. Most quartz are grown underground,
inside cave, there's need of water source, those water is capable
of dissolving many minerals, pressure need to be 2 to 3 times than
the normal atmospheric pressure, temperature need to be in around
550 to 600℃. If time is given, a trigonal system form
will be created and here's come the born of quartz.
