Chinese
Name:生命之樹
English Name:Tree of Life
Remarks:The Tree of Life (Kabbalah) is derived from the Flower of Life. In Hebrew, it is a mystical symbol within the Kabbalah of esoteric Judaism used to describe the path to God. It is an arrangement of ten interconnected spheres, which represent the central organizational stystem of the Jewish Kabbalistic tradition or 'cosmology' of the Kabbalah.
The Tree of life is considered to be a map of the universe and the psyche, the order of the creation of the cosmos, and a path to spiritual illumination.
In the Kabbalah every circle is aligned with one chakra, called Sephiroth. Every chakra represents a certain space of evergy in the human body. The Kabbalah symbolizes the flow of energy in human bodies. If this flow of energy is blocked the energy can't move freely.
The Kabbalah Tree of Life is a representation of the thirty-two paths comprised of the ten sefirot and the twenty-two paths through which they run. The Tree of life describes the descent to the divine into the manifest world, and methods by which the divine union may be attained in this life. It can be viewed as a map of the human psyche, and of the workings of creation, both manifest and not. It is important to realize that the pure nature of divinity is unity, and that the seemingly separate aspects or emanations exist only in view of the emanated, living in a state of illusory separation.
The names and numbers of the ten sefirot are given in order below.
I. Kether (Crown) 王冠
